חג פסח שמח
Happy Passover Everyone
Yesterday was the night of the Betrothal Supper a.k.a “Last supper”, mistakenly many think it to be the same as the passover, but it was not the passover, but the evening of the day of preparation for the passover and unleavened bread feasts.
In the day that קדם (Qadam) precedes מצת Matsah("Unleavened-Bread"), the Tha·lmiyd·iym("disciples") drew near to Yeshuwa and said to him, "Where do you desire us to כינ prepare to eat the פּסח Pecsach("Passover") ? " - Mattiyahuw 26:17
The Towrah of Yehovah Says:
_"And the Yehovah-God spoke to Mosheh and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, This month(of passover / Abiyb) shall be to you the beginning of months: it shall be THE FIRST MONTH of the YEAR to you."_~ Exodus 12:1
"...IN THE 14th DAY of the 1st month (Abiyb) SHALL BE THE PASSOVER..."~Lev 23:5
"...on the 15th to the 21st day of the 1st month (Abiyb) shall unleavened bread be eaten..." ~ Lev 23:6
"...wave the First fruits from the morrow after the shabat..." ~ Lev 23:10,11
The most Ancient of ancient calenders, that predates all other calenders by over 1500 yrs, is non other than, the biblical Calender designed and established by Yehovah-God Himself.
It begins at the onset of the earths celestial cycle around the sun, at the very Dawn of the year, when all life "Wakes up" and comes alive, when the animals arouse out of their hibernation, and the plant's seeds sprout out of dormancy, as all nature stirs, and springs back to life, hence the name of the season.
A few days later(sometimes earlier), to the spring equinox, on the eve of the new moon, when the moon synchronises and begins its cycle around the earth, the biblical new moonth and year commences.
But
The ancient pagan calendars say:
The year begins in the Dead of winter, when life is asleep ("hibernation"), i.e the "Night of the Year", and at the "Midnight of the Year" aka "Winter solstice" (Dec 25th), the longest and Darkest night of the Year, they begun the count to the new year.
In the pagan roman Julian Calendar, (named after Julius Caesar) later adopted by the Roman catholic church and renamed Gregorian calender (after pope Gregory), the new year was celebrated a few days after winter solstice, on the first day of the month of the Roman God Janus.
Throughout the Tanak(scriptures) men who knew their God, the one true God Yehovah _(Adam, Noach, Mosheh, Yeshuwa, etc)_ observed Yehovah’s calender and missed not one of its appointments(Moediym).
As for the Non Jew, what does Yehovah say:
"if a נֵכָר NeKaR Foreigner (non-jew/ *gentile*) dwells among you, and *wants to keep the passover* of YeHuWaH God; then he shall do it according to the Appointments(appointed times) of the passover, and according to the ordinances(laws), so shall he do:
you shall have *one law(Towrah)*, *one appointed time*, for the נֵכָר NeKaR Foreigner (non-jew/*gentile*), and for him that was born in the land( *Jew*).
In the English translation Genesis 1:14 YeHoVaH says: "the sun and the moon are for signs and for seasons",
In the original Hebrew TaNaK, YeHoVaH says: "the sun and the moon are AoToT("indicators") signaling the MuWAD•DiYM("Appointed Times") i.e the days of the events of the seven feasts.
Go outside tonight and , lookup and witness the annual fullfilent of YeHoVaH's words in Gen 1:14.
Every year for the last 5991yrs, every PacSaK("passover") and every cSuKoTh("Tabernacles") the *moon* shines -as this night- at its *full* illumination, in the sky for all the world to see.
HaLeL YeHoVaH !!!.
