I receive a lot of messages from people who are offended because we expose the errors of the Catholic Church. False love has blinded the eyes of many and their only cry is "don't judge, you're judgemental, you're spreading hate." but what would Jesus, Paul, Elijah do when they were here. They will expose the work of darkness and call people to the truth. This generation is really blinded and evil. Because he who doeth righteousness loves the truth and hate darkness. Instead of people asking "why do you always attack the Catholic church" they should rather ask "what is wrong with the Catholic Church according to the Bible?." "Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 5:12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret." Note that we're not attacking any individual but the system that's leading many people astray. It is the Catholic system God is warning His people to come out of. Many sincere people of God will heed the warning and will come out of her. The Bible said many people worship God in vain. Why? Because they love tradition and claim it is above God's word. Like the Pharisees,The Catholic Church keeps tradition and disobey God's word. "This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." Matthew 15:8,9 By this belief that the church is above the Bible, there's no boundary to her practices which are against the Bible. Idol worship, pagan holidays, name it… Before we look at the quotes of the Catholic Church saying tradition supersedes scripture, let's study these truth. Paganism and Christianity united to form the Catholic church. All the pagan practices were borrowed into the church and new names were given to the pagan objects of worship. Tammuz became Baby Jesus and Semiramis —the queen of heaven became Virgin Mary. The queen of heaven was worshipped by the whole pagan world and when many pagans were brought into Christianity they didn't leave their idols behind. They brought it back into Christianity and tainted God's undiluted word. This among other gross errors made the Catholic church to be Babylon, the mother of all false doctrines. "Revelation 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration." "Revelation 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. 18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities." From beginning to end of Scripture there is NOT A SINGLE passage that warrants the transfer of weekly public worship from the last day of the week to the first.” Catholic Press, Aug. 25, 1900 “Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change [Saturday Sabbath to Sunday] was her act… And the act is a mark of her ecclesiastical authority in religious things” (H.F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons). “Sunday is our MARK of authority… the church is ABOVE the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact” (Catholic Record of London, Ontario Sept 1, 1923). “Of course these two old quotations are exactly correct. The Catholic Church designated Sunday as the day for corporate worship and gets full credit – or blame – for the change.” This Rock, The Magazine of Catholic Apologetics and Evangelization, p.8, June 1997 ”Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change was her act. And the act is a mark of her ecclesiastical power and authority in religious matters.” C. F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons, in answer to a letter regarding the change of the Sabbath, November 11, 1895. “Tradition, not Scripture, is the rock on which the church of Jesus Christ is built.” Adrien Nampon, Catholic Doctrine as Defined by the Council of Trent, p. 157 “The Pope is of so great authority and power that he can modify, explain, or interpret even divine law”. The pope can modify divine law, since his power is not of man, but of God, and he acts a vicegerent of God upon earth” Lucius Ferraris, Prompta Bibliotheca, art. Papa, II, Vol. VI, p. 29. Jesus made it plain that those who keep tradition and claim to worship God through it do it in VAIN. True worship is obeying all that comes out of the mouth of God and not human traditions. The Catholic church admits openly that the act of changing the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday was not a biblical command but tradition. The admission is true because Sunday worship is the tradition of the pagan world. sun worship is disguised into another form and many Christians do not even know why they worship on Sunday. There is, in truth, something royal, kingly about the sun, making it a fit emblem of Jesus, the Sun of Justice. Hence the church in these countries would seem to have said, to ‘Keep that old pagan name [Sunday]. It shall remain consecrated, sanctified.’ And thus the pagan Sunday, dedicated to Balder, became the Christian Sunday, sacred to Jesus.” William Gildea, Doctor of Divinity, The Catholic World, March, 1894, p. 809 “The retention of the old pagan name of Dies Solis, for Sunday is, in a great measure, owing to the union of pagan and Christian sentiment with which the first day of the week was recommended by Constantine to his subjects – pagan and Christian alike – as the ‘venerable’ day of the sun.”” Arthur P. Stanley, History of the Eastern Church, p. 184 The Catholic church continued pagan Rome rituals which is sun worship. God is calling His people out of this religio-political system full of abominations.
