Little History of Israel

A little history on our land Israel'

In 70 CE, the Second Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed by the Roman Empire, effectively ending Jewish rule in the Land of Israel until 1948.

While the Jewish population was not given a decree to leave the land, the conditions, such as the fiscus Judaicus, a special tax imposed on Jews, were grave enough to convince most residents to disperse around the globe.

Still, some Jews did remain in Palestine. Bar Kochba led a small band of Jews in a revolt against the Romans from 132-135 CE in response to the building of the new Roman city "Aelia Capitolina" on the grounds of Jerusalem. While the revolt was met with violent and harsh retributions, by the end of the century, the Romans officially permitted Judaism as a sanctioned religion in Palestine.

When the Christian Byzantines took control of Palestine in the fourth century, many restrictions were put on the remaining Jewish community, from banning intermarriage between Christians and Jews to forbidding Jews from owning Christian slaves. There was talk of banning Judaism outright, but those plans never came to fruition.

Despite its smaller pool of scholars, the rabbinic academies of Palestine were able to complete what is known today as the Talmud Yerushalmi (Jerusalem Talmud). Though the Babylonian Talmud is considered to be the more authoritative work, the Jerusalem Talmud is still one of the most important contributions to Jewish literature.

Life under Muslim Rule

In 638, Caliph Omar conquered Jerusalem from the Byzantines, launching Muslim rule over the territory. While Jews and Christians were considered second class citizens, the amount of direct persecution decreased substantially.

The community in Palestine was fairly quiet during the early Islamic period. A rabbinic academy was formed in Tiberius (and later moved to Ramle) in order to compete, unsuccessfully, with the ten Jewish academies in Baghdad.

Christian Rule: More of the Same

In 1099, Crusaders arrived in Palestine and created a Christian kingdom in Jerusalem that lasted until 1187. The Crusaders banned Jews from living in the city of Jerusalem, though they were permitted to live in the rest of Palestine, and were permitted to visit Jerusalem.

But Christian rule was short-lived. In 1187, Saladin and the Ayyubid dynasty conquered Jerusalem. Indeed, while Christian Europe wanted to establish a permanent presence in Jerusalem and the Middle East, they eventually retreated to Europe after the Muslim recapture of Acre in 1291.

Israeli History QuizIn 1258, Baghdad fell to the Mongols. Fearing a collapse of their empire and wanting to prove their strength, the Muslim rulers imposed harsh sanctions on Jews and Christians throughout the region, including Palestine. These restrictions--including wearing special clothing and doctors not being allowed to serve Muslim patients--were enumerated in the seventh century Pact of Umar, a list of laws concerning non-Muslims living in Muslim lands that had previously rarely been enforced.

Feast of Shuot

Iyyar 11, 5779

"The festival of Shavuot arrived, and the believers  all gathered together in one place." Acts 2:1 CJB.

The festival of Shavuot is Hebrew for the festival of Weeks. For Shavuot is Weeks in Hebrew. This is because in Leviticus 23:15-16, we are instructed to count 7 completed Shabbats, which is 49 days, and the 50th day is the Festival of Shavuot. Its is 50 days from after the Shabbat of Matzah, counting from Abib 16, where Matzah or the Feast of Unleavened Bread was on Abib 15. And this year, Abib 16 is after both the weekly Shabbat and the high Shabbat of Matzah.

Shavuot is translated as Pentecost in Greek and English. And Pentecost means 50. Its 50 days from the resurrection of Yeshua the Mashiach.

It is abundantly clear that the believers in Yeshua as the Mashiach celebrated Shavuot or the Feast of Pentecost, after the death, resurrection and ascension of Yeshua. That's why in Acts chapter 2, it is written in verse 5 that, " in Yerushalayim there were dwelling Yehudim, dedicated men from every nation under the heaven." So Jews from every nation came to Yerushalayim to celebrate Shavuot or Pentecost. There are no instructions whatsoever to stop celebrating Pentecost. The Feast of Shavuot or Pentecost is for all believers in Yahweh our Elohim and in Yeshua the Mashiach and our Master. For all the appointed times of Yahweh are about the true Mashiach.

And today is 26 days to Shavuot or Pentecost.

Blessed are You, Yahweh our Elohim, King of the universe, for you have sanctified us with your commandments and have commanded us to count the omer. Today is 26 days of the omer or 3 weeks and 5 days of the omer.

Israeli Soldier

Israeli soldier carries his fallen comrade on his shoulders. His comrade fell in battle defending the State of Israel. In all of Israel's wars, the Jewish nation has never asked friends and supporters around the world to send their soldiers to bleed & die for Israel. Israel has always stood alone in the face of insurmountable odds, alone in the heat of battle, the children of Israel have faced their enemies head on & crushed them time & time again. In the last 71 years since Israel's rebirth, the Israeli army has stood firm against the forces of evil and hate all around the holy land.

But a new war is exploding. It will require the help of every single supporter of Israel. This war is waged on the information arena where the enemies of Israel outnumber the armies of Israel many, many times over. The United Nations is silent. Human Rights organizations are silent. As Israel is bombarded with misinformation calculated to rewrite Israel's very foundation from its ancient past, current history & future destiny.

This misinformation calculated to cut-off Jewish history from the holy land of Israel. Misinformation used inside the UN in many official meetings over the decades. Latest example in 2018 when the UN passed 21 resolutions condemning Israel by mid November 2018 compared to only 6 resolutions condemning the rest of the world combined in the same period.

Misinformation waged against Israel resulting in a further 6 resolution's passed in one day alone in November 29, 2018. Two of those 6 UN resolutions denied Jewish connection to the holy city Jerusalem which became famous because of David. King David was a Jew from the tribe of Judah & he was not an Arab nor a Palestinian.

The other resolution denied Jewish connection to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem the site of King Solomon's temple and the Wailing Wall.

Many Christian populated countries don't realize that their governments are voting with the Muslim nation's lies against the Nation of  Israel inside the UN.

The Muslim nations are rewriting the Holy Bible's history by denying Jewish connection to the holy city of Jerusalem & by sponsoring UN resolutions that gives political weight to their lies. The UN entrenches those malicious lies into various international laws that exist today.

This new war is waged against Israel on a scale like never before as it is sponsored by powerful entities and intergovernmental bodies led by the United Nations General Assembly.

The Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) made up of 57 Muslim Nations looking after the interests of the Muslim world. This organization runs the agenda against Israel & many non-Muslim countries have been snared to vote with the OIC in the UN.

The UN contains many intergovernmental bodies & they too have been poisoned by the anti-Israel agenda of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) & a great example is the G-77.

The G-77 is an intergovernmental body made up of 135 countries & it is the biggest voting bloc (group) inside the UN. The Organization for Islamic Cooperation has poisoned it against Israel & millions of supporters of Israel around the world do not realize this.

Egypt (Muslim nation) held the chairmanship of the G-77 in 2018 but gave it to Palestine (Muslim entity) to run the G-77 in 2019. Palestine is not even a state (sovereign country) by the UN's own definition & should never have been allowed to head the G-77  but the voting powers & influence of the 57 Muslim nations & other dictator states inside the UN have endorsed Palestine to chair and lead every session of the G-77 in 2019 & to wield the voice and influence of the G-77 inside the UN's chambers.

The Muslim nations propped up Palestine to counter President Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital & moving the American embassy there.

The need to share information about Israel is needed from supporters of Israel around the world.

If the UN & other human rights organizations have been poisoned against Israel, then it is up to every single supporter of Israel to share Israel's information & inspire support for the Nation of Israel.

Right now, the Israeli army faces Hamas sponsored riots on the Gaza border & hours ago all the Palestinian children in Gaza were stopped by Hamas from going to school and told to head to the Israeli border to join the violent riots. Placing innocent Palestinian lives at risk where Hamas terrorists utilize these civilians as human shields to try and break through Israel's security fence on the Israeli- Gaza border.

Last week Hamas & Palestinian Islamic Jihad launched 690 rockets towards Israel. In direct violation of UN laws, the UN Human Rights Council is still silent on that issue & to this day, this terrorist group Hamas has never been condemned by name not even once inside the UN & all its branches.

This is evidence of the poison against Israel inside this world body that is supposed to have a mandate for the good of humanity.

High testimony to the bias & lies against Israel inside the UN that has resulted in the UN condemning Israel with resolutions after resolutions more than all the countries on the planet combined every year inside the UN branches for many years now.

This malicious poison inside the UN attacking the People of Israel can only be defeated through the supporters of Israel sharing information to friends and families about Israel on social media like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Tweeter, Pinterest etc and writing to your daily newspapers & local magazines and religious media platforms to spread the truth about the events in the holy land of Israel.

Yahushua appeared on Mount with His 3 Disciples

Messiah reveals his identity to the disciples on the mount BEFORE he died🔥 He is the One and only EL🔥
Matthew 17
1  And after six days יהושע took Kĕpha, and Yaʽaqoḇ, and Yoḥanan his brother, and brought them up on a high mountain by themselves,
2  and He was transformed before them, and His face shone like the sun, and His garments became as white as the light.
3  And see, Mosheh and Ěliyahu appeared to them, talking with Him.
4  And Kĕpha answering, said to יהושע, “Master, it is good for us to be here. If You wish, let us make here three booths: one for You, one for Mosheh, and one for Ěliyahu.”
5  While he was still speaking, see, a bright cloud overshadowed them. And see, a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I did delight. Hear Him!”
6  And when the taught ones heard, they fell on their faces and were much afraid.
7  But יהושע came near and touched them and said, “Rise, and do not be afraid.”
8  And having lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but יהושע only.👀🔥<<<---(only ONE)
9  And as they were coming down from the mountain, יהושע commanded them, saying, “Do not mention the vision to anyone until the Son of Aḏam is raised from the dead.”
10  And His taught ones asked Him, saying, “Why then do the scribes say that Ěliyahu has to come first?”
11  And יהושע answering, said to them, “Ěliyahu is indeed coming first, and shall restore all.
12  “But I say to you that Ěliyahu has already come, and they did not recognise him but did to him whatever they wished. In this way the Son of Aḏam is also about to suffer by them.”

2 Cor 3:14  But their minds were hardened, for to this day, when the old covenant is being read, that same veil remains, not lifted, because in Messiah it is taken away.
15  But to this day, when Mosheh is being read, a veil lies on their heart.
16  And when one turns to the Master, the veil is taken away. (Exo. 34:34.)
17  Now יהוה is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of יהוה is, there is freedom.
18  And we all, as with unveiled face we see as in a mirror the esteem of יהוה, are being transformed into the same likeness from esteem to esteem, as from יהוה, the Spirit
Exodus 34
33  And when Mosheh ended speaking with them, he put a veil on his face.
34  But whenever Mosheh went in before יהוה to speak with Him, he would remove the veil until he came out. And when he came out he spoke to the children of Yisra’ĕl what he had been commanded,
35  and the children of Yisra’ĕl would see the face of Mosheh, that the skin of Mosheh’s face shone, and Mosheh would put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with Him.

Mathew 27
50  And יהושע cried out again with a loud voice, and gave up His spirit.
51  And see, the VEIL of the Dwelling Place was torn in two from top to bottom, and the earth was shaken, and the rocks were split,
52  and the tombs were opened, and many bodies of the set-apart ones who had fallen asleep were raised,
53  and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection, they went into the set-apart city and appeared to many.
54  And when the captain and those with him, who were guarding יהושע, saw the earthquake and all that took place, they feared exceedingly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of Elohim!”
